Assalamu’Alaykum,
A devastating tragedy took place in London, Canada on Monday in which a Muslim family was murdered in an anti-Muslim hate crime.
Surely to Allah we belong and to Him we will return. We ask Allah to have mercy on those who have passed away and grant them Jannat al-Firdaws, and we ask Allah to give healing, strength and peace to our young brother. We grieve with the Muslim community in Canada, and stand with them in the pursuit of justice and the effort to dismantle the kinds of ignorance and bigotry that lead to such violence.
Yaqeen Institute is actively working to combat the spread of Islamophobia and to support the Muslim community during this traumatic experience.
