Special Projects
We undertake special projects for a variety of reasons. The projects may:
- Be in response to needs from the diverse Muslim community
- Support organizational knowledge and capacity building
- Address emerging issues (e.g., COVID-19)
MCASS often collaborates with partners and involves members of our communities to gain exceptional insights and expand impact and reach. Our placement students will usually be engaged in some form of project work too. We benefit from their unique perspectives, ingenuity, creativity, knowledge and skills.
Special projects might involve, but are not limited to:
- Research
- New Program Design
- Community Forums/Workshops
- Special Events for Ramadan and Eid
- Advocacy
