My name is Smeera Mash-Hadi. I have been a Child and Youth Counselor with the York Region District School Board for over a decade. My passion is working with children, empowering youth, and building their capacity and life skills. I partake in several extracurricular volunteer opportunities to help my community at my workplace, which have led to me receiving a community service award and the Silver Fox Award 2024. I am also a team leader for mental health at my workplace and have been coordinating the breakfast program for over nine years.

I studied BA Psychology in Pakistan at Punjab University and ECE (Early Childhood Education) and CYW (Child Youth Worker) at Centennial College. I strive to keep myself educated and involved with child and youth care and healthy family relationships, and I always enjoy helping others who are in need.
