Community Services Officer - Social Services
Hi my name is Rhoda Salah-Mohamed and I am excited to be a part of the team as a Community Services Officer – Social Services. I am currently in my fourth year at the University of Toronto (Mississauga) double majoring in Psychology and Biology for Health Sciences. I hope to pursue a doctorate in Optometry in the near future.
I am a tactical thinker and collaborative leader who is passionate about enhancing community relationships and child welfare practice. I have established anti-Black racism, equity and diversity programmes and projects through my work at Albion Boys and Girls Club and at an after-school program as a program lead. It has received national recognition and improved outcomes for children, youth, and families.
Assisting those in marginalised communities that are experiencing poverty, abuse, and injustice, is what I intend to dedicate my time to. I aspire to empower and bring a meaningful effect on the Muslim community as a Community Services Officer.
