Mohazzama Muhtaj is an enthusiastic and compassionate individual that takes pride in making a difference in the community. She is currently working towards completing a double major in Neuroscience and Psychology (BSc) at the University of Toronto and hopes to pursue a career in medicine. She is deeply affectionate towards newcomers and refugees and has a strong desire to work with underprivileged Muslim youth. She is a skilled soccer player and currently competes on UTSC’s soccer team. Through the Scarborough Simbas program, she wishes to inspire youth to stay connected with the Muslim community through sport.
