Mohazzama Muhtaj

Mohazzama is a very hardworking and passionate student who loves to spend her time volunteering with non-profit organizations, striving to bring positive change on an individual and community level. She has a great wealth of experience working with underprivileged youth, newcomers and refugees and aspires to leave a positive impact on their lives.

She also has a passion for soccer and is currently the program manager and coordinator of the Scarborough Simbas Soccer program.

Mohazzama is currently pursuing a double major in Neuroscience and Psychology at the University of Toronto. She hopes to continue her studies and pursue a Masters in her field or attend the school of Physician Assistants.

As a Community Recreational and Leisure Programs Consultant, Mohazzama hopes to continue to inspire, provide a positive impact and promote holistic wellness for the Muslim community by combining her passion for sport, background in physical and mental wellness along with her programming and management experience.

Outside of school and work, Mohazzama’s interests include: playing and watching soccer, cooking, travelling, and spending time with her family.
