My name is Imad Al Jaborey and I am of middle eastern background. I have been volunteering at my local mosque for years and wanted to extend into a place where we could reach people of all different backgrounds. I came across Muslim launch pad and signed up. The first opportunity was distributing food to new immigrant families who had come to Canada for a new life. It was a very heartwarming experience to be able to assist them. Everyone was very welcoming at muslim launch pad and I immediately felt at home. My goal is to join the Toronto Police and be able to protect and help people in need while facing different types of situations. Also I would like to build relationships with the various communities in the city and encourage others.
