Huda Bukhari
Huda Bukhari has been working in the settlement sector for over twenty years. She is currently the Community Engagement Manager at the Canadian Centre for Victims of Torture (CCVT) recognized worldwide for providing treatment, tools and support that allow refugees to heal from trauma and become active community members. Prior to that Huda was the Executive Director of the Arab Community Centre of Toronto (ACCT) when the agency was at the forefront of the Syrian refugee crisis.
Huda is highly motivated professional who is a strategic thinker with a track record of revolutionizing programs and staff performance. Huda has a strong drive to help others grow professionally, coupled with a personal conviction of life-long learning. She is proactive in promoting team progress toward success. Huda can analyze issues and recommend practical solutions as well as build strategic alliances to grow organizations. She brings strength in leadership, planning, organizational effectiveness, and relationship-building for bottom-line results.
