Hafsa Binte Younus

Hafsa Binte Younus is a recent graduate from the University of Toronto with a diverse skill set and a passion for healthcare, research, and community service. Holding an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology, she has a solid foundation in understanding human behavior and mental processes. 

She is an individual full of compassion and is passionate about making a positive difference in the community. She first became a part of MCASS in 2021 as a social innovation project volunteer. With a keen interest in child welfare, Hafsa is excited to become a part of the MCASS once again. Through being a part of the MCASS Project Advisory group, she hopes to contribute to bridging gaps in the child welfare system and seeks to make a meaningful and positive impact on the lives of underprivileged Muslim communities.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Hafsa finds joy in various activities, including cooking, gardening, hiking, and relishing the tranquil sounds of nature, particularly the melodious chirping of birds. These hobbies allow her to appreciate the finer and more exquisite aspects of life.
