The Canadian Council of Muslim Women’s Digital Anti-Racism Education Project (D.A.R.E 2) has provided a brochure with a wide variety of support services and mental health hotlines for across the country.
Nisa Helpline is a free service that assists Muslim women across North America with confidential, peer-to-peer counselling on a variety of issues including but not limited to abuse, depression, stress management and relationship counselling. Available 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In order to support mental wellness during COVID-19, counselling and workshops are available by phone or video by calling (416)-595-9618 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Topics covered are well-being, stress, and coping strategies to name a few.
